Our company was established in 1985 by Marilyn Schmidt as Peli Pack-N-Ship. She
started the company to cater to the art community. She was able to earn the trust and
respect of local galleries, artists and individuals for her packing expertise. Marilyn had the distinction of being designated a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet early in the formation of the burgeoning pack-n-ship businesses.
Eventually, Marilyn’s husband, Matt, joined the company and they worked together to expand the offering of proven products made by trusted manufacturers such as: Tharco, Berwick-Offray, Bonita, Boxit, Elkay, SatinWrap, Sealed Air and Shurtape. In 1993, they incorporated becoming Peli Inc.
Today, the second generation, the original owner’s daughter and her husband (Susan &
Terry) operate the business. Terry joined Peli Inc. in 1990 as an outside sales
representative. He is now the lead designer and fabricator for our client’s custom
packaging needs.
We continue to offer quality products to our customers on a first come, first served basis
in our showroom. No need to phone ahead, just drop in. Phone orders, email orders (and
yes, fax orders, too) are welcome. Most of our stock items may be purchased without
meeting any minimum requirements. We provide daily deliveries throughout the
Albuquerque Metro area and weekly deliveries to Santa Fe. We also ship product to our
customers in outlying areas.

We remain a local, independent, small, woman-owned business that strives to offer the services and packaging our customers have come to expect. Our products have changed over the years to include biodegradable and post-consumer materials to offer consumers a choice with regard to their packaging. We continue to be your supply source that is innovative enough to be viable in the future.
